Hello The Phoenix!

I'm an SSA survivor too. I get ALL of this. I have three older brothers and one of them abused me and at least one of our other brothers: emotionally, physically, and sexually. My parents acknowledged both of our abuse circumstances, thankfully. Still, our family is a mess. And now both my parents are gone. And our oldest brother who was not abusive passed away in early 2024. Last year I had to go NO CONTACT with my other brother who was also abused. Because he went back into an email relationship with our abuser who is a) still an abuser (though halfway across the world) and for sure, b) still a bully.

I plan to write a blog post (I always copy and paste over here on Medium.) about family estrangement. Would you be okay with me quoting this post?
