Help your child make a list of people such as:
- A trusted grandparent
- Their soccer coach
- A next-door neighbor they’ve bonded with
- Your child’s homeroom teacher
- A favorite aunt or uncle
- The parent of their best friend
Collect each safe adult’s information and add them to your child’s cell phone contacts.
And if your child doesn’t have a smart phone, write everyone’s info on an index card and tape it inside their backpack.

Issues like:
